1 Corinthians Chapter 5

The Expression Bible

(The Expression Bible: Most study Bibles and Commentaries are based in observation of external evidence and information, as it relates to the written word of God, from the outside looking in, as the name denotes, commenting about it, which is good as a study aid. However, this requires back and forth reading of the scripture and the notes. This new version attempts to integrate the study into the reading of the scripture, while keeping it separate from the scripture at the same time in its layout to avoid confusion. It is also designed to study from the inside looking out, in that, it does not comment about it, but expresses itself in the first person, as though the author was offering the expression themselves. Then along with that internal expression, also integrating at times external evidences and observations, into the text of the Expression, not the actual scripture. The goal here then is to have an easier flow of the scripture text and the study text combined. This is not designed to appeal to theologians or detail oriented readers, who wants too know the source of every expression. Rather it is to give the reader the benefit of the resource of theology, in an integrated, easy to read format. In other words, it is for them, who want to take the medicine, not those trying to learn how to decipher the writing on the prescription or be able to write prescriptions. It is written for the patients, not the doctors or even the pharmacists.)

Church Discipline

5:1 It
> In fact, just consider what it is that has come to me in my absence, concerning the behavior of one among you and your response to it. It is where you are again misrepresenting that which you are supposed to be in your walk with Christ, with definitions that are being called on by sinful desires and not spiritual ones. It has become the persona of who you are in public, but not in the image of Christ, it is in the image though, of them who are supposedly leading you down this path.
is
> There is no lack of clarity for us to not know what it is that you are involved with and what is the manner of your thinking. In other words, this is not a secret among you, it is just a representation of what it is at the core of your own mindset and view of Christianity. In that, where there should be some sense of shame about what is being touted as who you are as a people, is instead creating a desire for more sin in you.
actually
> This is not even something that you are attempting to deal with as a private family matter, so that it does not become a blight on you in the community and disturb in you the harmony of those in pursuit of God. This is the real face of who you are, looking back at you in the mirror, this is how others are viewing you as they see you. It is living in a state of denial of the truth among you, where you simply ignore the facts as they are and pretend that that which is happening, is inconsequential, without harm or foul.
reported
> This kind of talk is not cheap, it is very expensive, because it cost you your reputation as Christian’s, and leaves a discoloring effect on them who see Christ thru you. You distort the true image of Christ holiness, by siding with sin, as though it were no more than a play thing for Christian’s to be involved with. You allow the message to be made of you, that sin is no longer a serious matter to you, misunderstanding the power in the grace God gave you to overcome sin, not disregard the consequence of sin in you. You are conveying to not only the world, but those who come to Christ, that they can live in sin and not suffer from its effect in your relationship with God and his church, but that is a lie. Because through your life choices, you are writing the message of Christianity for others to learn from, but your version is full of error.
that sexual
> It is the very nature of what this is, which you have allowed yourselves to be tantalized by, and then scandalize in it for the shear entertainment factor of it in you. You have yourselves engaged this at the very level that it is happening among you by another, you have involved your whole church in the very sins of it, by marketing it among yourselves as entertainment. We all know the intrigue that such activity produces in us, as our flesh craves after the forbidden, but by which we are trapped in its vice when tolerated.
immorality
> You have become peddlers of thinking about that which another is doing, letting your thoughts act upon the lust of it, rather than on holiness of God in the church. You have become tolerant of the very things that you were being called out of as new born believers. Your focus should be on the things to come in your new life, established on Christ holiness, but instead you are living in the past, where it was your bondage and subjection to it, which was the paramount in your lives.
exists
> Considering what it is occurring among you, so far as your state of affairs actually are, as opposed to what should be your manner in life. There is a great divide between where you should be and where you are. There are no gray areas or difficult to understand passages of understanding in this matter, just the clear and public evidence that is being ignored by everyone of you and those in charge among you.
among you,
> That it is part of your belief system now, that you seem to think is acceptable and possible to be involved with Christ holiness and the sinful practice of the body. Without there being any recourse to the effects of sin on the spiritual body, so far as your maturing spiritually among you at the same time. This is not true though, there will always be a response among the spiritual body, to the acts of sin in the church. They will either be treated as the fertilizer to cause your flesh to grow off of, in feeding the lust in you, or they will removed from your presence, breaking the chain of dependency on them and growing spiritually by sustaining yourselves in Gods glory, which is the good soil to be buried in for the sustaining among you of holiness.
the kind
> This act that is occurring has a nature to it, which is an uncommon nature that is part of the human instinct that God has created in man to instinctively avoid. That is, despite its intrigue in us for sin, society has come to understand, that it is so destructive a practice, that social structure cannot be maintained in the normal ways of man. If you try to sustain at the same time, certain opposing behavior patterns among the people. The two cannot coexist and still have a functioning society at hand, and the reasons are as simple, as are the effects of lying and cheating, so far as, how they break down simple trust, which is the bonding agent that keeps a people together.
of immorality
> It is a so destructive a sin, that it is avoided by them who exhibit the least little bit of commonsense, as it is understood by them who are part of mankind. Even they know that you cannot have a functioning family, where there are not divisions and absolute off limits to that which are intimate affections in the family.
that
> It is such a state of ignorance to what are the effects of sin being allowed in our midst without confrontation, that what we refer to as civilized society, even recognizes its destructive effect on civility and human interaction. Even if they do not tag it with a moral conscience, they see it as a civil matter that is detrimental to human advancement. They still nonetheless, understand that by the very nature of the act, it will cause some unacceptable harm to their community at both the personal and corporate levels.
is not
> As a result of that human analogy alone, which they have available in them, they are able to determine by consensus, what you are apparently are not able to with spiritual awareness in you. They are doing it based only on human instinct, from the experience of life itself, thru the survival instinct of Gods creation in them alone, but you do not even employ the commonsense that they have in aiding you in this.
permitted
> So they have human laws against what you are doing, yet while you in your spiritual insights, have not made such connections yourselves. Which means it flies in the face of all spiritual and human agendas that are in practice around you, yet you have ignored them all.
even
> These are the basic building blocks of society here that we are discussing, not the deep human psychology’s of the mind. I’m not even talking about men who have schools of learning in an attempt to figure out the abstract desires of mankind, without the base acknowledgment I might add, of it all having its course in them as a result of the sins nature in them. They do not like to talk about it that way, because that would be cause for moral awareness and a reaction to God due them, which they are not seeking.
among
> It is something that does not though inhabit the lives of the people who are building a social structure that is not spiritually minded in the Christian sense of that word. But are building a basic set of survival skills, based on the ability of man to live with each other, with a certain amount of trust built into that relationship, as an accepted behavior pattern among them.
the Gentiles,
> This is in evidence among those of your culture that you exist in, so it is not an abstract or foreign concept that I am engaging your thinking in, as it is in the way we try to get the world to understand the message-of-the-cross. You could say the same to me, as instructors of this teaching, as far as your own abilities go, if you had the moral leading as a concrete structure under you to stand on in this, which would enable you to do so.
so that
> Where it is simple civil defense for them to understand that a family cannot allow itself to be divided, in allowing for the intimate acts between them. That there must be a personal refuge between the husband and wife, which is never violated by the children of the same. Whether they be the natural children or adopted children, by one or both parents, this personal refuge of the body must be maintained.
someone
> When we allow for that which is not allowed, we begin to destroy the very fibers of trust that hold together a society, as trust erodes, doubts arise, and where there is doubt, the fabric of that society unravels into chaos and even revenge. As the ones engaging in this sin goes unchecked by them around them, which is you whose responsibility it is to interfere with the plans of sin to work their ways in your midst.
is cohabiting
> As we have in this case, they have chosen to try to build a family structure based on a union between them at the intimate level of married couples. But doing so outside of the consensus of what is acceptable behavior in there community. Whether this is done in or out of wedlock, as to how they are living together, is not the issue, it is what is at the center of their desires in doing this, is what is at the core of the issue here, and your response to it.
with
> The objects of this activity is based in the violation of the son to the father, and the wife to the father. They are the principles who have conspired together to throw off the restraints of societies judgment, and do as they please. Disregarding the harm that will come to all those around them.
his father’s
> Where the son took to himself his fathers wife in the same way that the father engaged her as his wife, with the privileges of sexual relations. All the code of ethics that society has to sustain itself are being treated with flagrant disregard, for that which it will do to all of you in the mindset of you, as it redefines your behavior patterns for you.
wife.
> Where the wife, did not conceal herself from the son, so that he could not have opportunity with her in that manner. So they both are in violation of the rules of society and the teachings of Gods grace which is empowering us to live in holiness before him.

5:2 And
> In fact, it goes far beyond the evidence of what they are doing, and speaks much more of what and who you are as a people, concerning the very character of who you are defined as. This is a representation of who you are, more than who they are, as we know the cause in them is in the lust of the flesh, but with you, it is buried deep in the psychic of who you are to allow it, that makes it so disturbing.
you are
> You have engrained in you that you are above the fray, outside of both the responsibility to act, in your own reflection of moral character, and thinking yourself exempt of its consequence in you. You see yourselves outside of the realms of influence, when indeed you are partly to blame for its presence in you and them. Because had it been common knowledge among you that this activity was unacceptable, he may not have ever gone there in the first place, in that, peer pressure is effective to do good as well as it is to commit evil. In this case, you permitted evil because you do not have an air-of-authority about you to do good, which comes from the consensus among you to establish good. Because that is not the presence of mind in you, therefore it is not present in the thinking of the church, as the culture that you are. Where there is no standard set down by the church to live as the image of Christ, sin will set the standard to do evil every time, and that will leave you in servitude to it, as you are right now.
proud!
> Therefore, if you are above the fray, then you must think yourselves better than others, no matter what the evidence against that conclusion is to the contrary must be. Regardless of the stench that others smell when encountering you, for you it all comes up smelling like roses. Because you have adjusted the perceptions of yourselves, to filter out that which is in error among you, as though it did pertain or stick to you, as a representation of whom you are. Which is to think of yourselves to be better than you are, or as has been said, “there are none so proud, then they who least know themselves” or the reflection of who they are, as seen by others on the outside looking in. You cannot see the sin of your countenance, because you see yourselves thru the filter of your own design, which removes the stain of your sin, where in the revealing light of others though, it is clearly seen. You are downplaying the image of Christ, and supplanting it with a worldly point of view, which suits the purpose of sin and not holiness.
Shouldn’t
> Because of that which is actually the state you exist in, there should be a desire for change. Much like a want for the cleansing that daily bathing reveals in us, to know when we are dirty and not to live in the filth of life as some grow accustom to, and to which you have in essence done, in not bathing with spiritual sanctification. When you bathe daily, you are able to see for yourselves, the faces of them who do not clean themselves in the same manner, as being unclean. But if you do not, then you do not see them who are unclean as you, as having any need for such, in that, you are common to it also. If dirt floors are the norm, then they are disregarded, but if they are abstract among us, we know of them immediately, as outside of how we live.
you
> So where is the responsibility for defining these attributes of you, if it does not lie in yourselves to do it. If you are the ones disregarding the sins in your midst, then it is also your responsibility to act against them too, as that is the nature and definition of both responsibility and irresponsibility. It is not for another to do the labor of life, while you cruse thru life unabated by that which you do not do in prevention, thinking it does not diminish who you are or soil over you in some way. You would that it not interfere with the luxury of your own lifestyles, but the fact is that it is, but you are insensitive to its affect on you, in the same way that you do not perceive you own need of a bath, but others easily smell its need.
have been
> There should have been a product produced in you by the very actions of others who do the unacceptable, an incense of anger as a result of your own sobriety. It is in the same manner, as are at the acts of drunkenness and misbehavior in front of you when you are sober; they should have been evident to you, not the melancholy of your own stupor, as is evident in you. They are drunk with lust, but your are drunk with pride and cannot therefore respond with the sobriety of mind to them.
deeply
> This should have given rise in you, to a greater sense of urgency that something was very wrong among you. A red flag of warning was waving in your midst, but you took no notice of caution of it, but let it become to you a numbing effect, so that life became a state of disregarding the state of health, concerning your church body. The warnings pains are there that your body is sick and needs help, but you have instead used cover ups to mask the symptoms, rather than to take on the necessary cure for what is ailing you. You cover the internal illness, with a false look of pride, as though it will go away or not effect your life, if it is ignored.
sorrowful
> You should have been so stricken by this, so that you cannot go on without dealing with it and finding its remedy in you. This wound of their actions, is to deep in you to not let it go untreated, and will eventually lead to greater disease in your church body. You are sick, but pretending that everything is all right, you should be recognizing what is occurring in you, but you are not. There should have been a deep sense of regret in you that such a thing had occurred on your watch, in that, it is a reflection on you and that someone was in harms way because of it. As this person is in the grip of sin, but no one is seeking to put an end to it for both his and your benefit. Where there should be they feelings of the detriment of it, as to pity for their condition, there are instead, the acts of self-denial, flying directly in the face of who you claim to be in the body of Christ. This will now lead to a sense of harshness instead of compassion to aid the one in distress. You cannot choose mans feelings, over the image of Christ in the church, as is mans nature to do to excuse sin. Now, for whatever the underlying motivation in you to do so, in choosing the man over Christ. It is not without expensing it out from holiness in the church, as that is what it will cost to maintain sin in the church body, you always do so at the expense of holiness.
instead
> The pattern of common reason of mind, should have prevailed in you as a dominant theme to your lives, one where you respond accordingly, to what is the truth you are facing, and not fabricating something into that which it is not. You should see sin as the slave owner that it is, and not a plaything, with its pleasures of luxury that the flesh enjoys, as it is a temporary effect, which will hurt you in the end.
and
> In proper action to this condition in you, you should have been proactive in dealing with it, in the same sense of the saying, “that an ounce of prevention, is worth a pound of cure”, you could have dealt with this with much greater ease and a sense of relief at the onset of it. Where there will now be the grief of the hard thing to do and the sorrow of rejection of him, instead of helping him.
removed
> Because you did nothing in the form of prevention, you must now do the hard work of confrontation and discipline of the one who has done this offense. You must do the act of excommunication, which is expulsion from the church of this person, so that you do not have fellowship with him, as if he were a good standing member who is faithful. Excommunication is not a religious act of the church or the political posturing of its members for saving face. But a spiritual action of the church to live separately from the influence of sin. It is leaving them with their sins, to their sins, as you move directly into the spiritual world of Christ, leaving them behind to be dealt with by God, as he sees fit to do, independent of the rest of the church body. It is more of choosing to be Christ like, then it is the repulsion of those in sin. The cause in you to do this, is to be Holy. The effects of that, is the separation from yourselves of them who do not think like you do. Who will be not conformed of their own will to the image of Christ, along with the union of them who would be in the image of Christ, as that which is in them to do. So that, each are after their own kind, it then reproducing that effect in themselves, separated to each, with their own end of it in them.
the one
> The action though must be directed at the person who did this offense, and not a general audience, it must be specific that the cause and effect, is in it being in him, he must bear the punishment of it alone, and feel the effects of sin in his life, as is relates to his own allowance in the church. The broader argument for the people to hear this message should be in the lives you live and not to use the spray method in a general action against everyone with an overall rule. It is not an excuse, because of what he did, to deal with this individual in a general action of legalism towards everyone in the church. So that he will learn that church is not a free-for-all to do sin, but a place of refuge away from sin, not a license to sin. He must feel the weight of discontent in his soul and the exclusion to loneliness of sin, from the effects of being cast overboard into the sea of rebellion, if he is not willing to turn from his sin and to conform to the image of Christ.
who
> The pressure must be on him to choose, that which will be his place in life, whether in the church or out of it. Life is a series of choices that he must make and live with the consequence of, so that he knows that he is not able to do the acts of evil and have that as acceptable in the fellowship of the Holy body of Christ. He must now bear the brunt of this alone, if he chooses to live a life of sin.
did this
> Actions have results, and therefore, because these were actions of evil in full view of the church, the church now bears the responsibility to respond in action against him, for the good of the church, and for his good, though he may not perceive it that way. He will not want to suffer for the errors he has made, but the rule of authority is there for in part, to do just that. Even as governments are there to be a fear for them who do evil, so are the church leaders to do right in this for the sake of the church, regardless of the effects of it on him.
from
> You must proceed on this at the earliest possible point of intervention, and not allow for the delay of it, so that it does not continue unabated and further seat itself in the church. There must be a defined point of confrontation designed by you to deal with this. You must be the take charge people, when it come to sin in the church. It is up to you to wage the tail and not allow sin to have an established base of operation in the church. As if it were not under assault by the church but in a state of alliance, as though sin had save haven in the church through that of an individual.
among you?
> There is no refuge for sin in the church, so far as acceptance of it as a practice of faith. You cannot combine the old with the new, they are distinctly different and without any ability to have cohabitation in them, as he is trying to do with sin and the church. So because he has chosen sin in his life, you must choose the opposite and perfect Christ image in you, treating him as though he were the infection of sin, which you are seeking an end to the affects of in your life from him. Therefore, he must learn from you publicly, that he is no longer an invited guest in your homes and the church, so long as he is in compliance with sin and not the household of Christ.

5:3 For
> Next I want you to consider this premise of your right to act in this, so far as concerning if it is the right thing to do. Having the knowledge of the actual events is the key to the decision making process. Information is key, and that is what we have in more than enough supply to quantify a conclusion on this, because it has become common knowledge among you, just to what has been going on there.
even though
> Now the fact that I am not there, might give some pause to my understanding of the facts, but this does exclude me from being in a position of being able to define what is taking place in practical terms, and reach a conclusion of applications for you in it. Information is key, but personal involvement for me is not required for me to have a discerning voice in this matter, in that a judge is not consider unbiased, if he has a personal involvement in a case before him, my absence is a positive then, not a negative. Anyone with reason of mind to do the will of Christ would reach the same conclusion on that same information.
I am
> Now the manner of myself, so far as the position I am in with you in relation to your own state of existence to this, is indeed different from your own perspective of these things themselves. Yours is a personal and relationship involvement in this matter, where I am not at involved in a relationship with him, so that I am removed emotionally.
absent
> You are there and I am not, I see from a distance, what you see up close, I have an emotional disconnect, where you are personally invested there with him. At the same time though, I am emotionally connected to Christ in this, without concern for the public perception, of what others might think of me in my judgment of him. For me this is an advantage, in that what they might think of me personally is irrelevant to me, apart from what Christ himself sees in me in this.
physically,
> The point being, even though I have a physical existence which is removed from your current location, that does not end my business with you. As far as that being a limitation of my abilities, as to my position in the church, as it relates to the church business of discipline. The two have no collation, as far as my judgment or authority goes, I am able to perform my duties regardless of my own location.
I am
> In that, I need only be aware of the situation, to be aware of the resolution of it. In that, location does not alter the attributes of God in even the smallest deviation. The presence of God is the same in heaven, as it was in Christ, as he was born into childhood and raised to manhood, and then died for our sins and then ascended back to heaven again. The physical form of him or his location was not relevant to the moral leading of him or in him, as to the absolute of God. The external location does not shape the character of someone, but the internal leading of him or her does. The external may prove the character of someone, even as Christ was tempted but did not sin, but it was the internal character of God in him, that carried the day for him. The external achievement of him was the effect of the cause in him, which was God in carnet or human form of mans body. The achievement was the revelation of Gods glory, but the glory was in the shear existence of God himself as Christ.
present
> So then, what gives me the presence of mind in this, as though I were there in person, is not based in that physical realm of mans relative position of existence in it, but Gods absolute existence, as it relates to the representing character of holiness, in its manifesting form of us on earth, in our physical bodies.
in spirit.
> Which is a product then produced in us, in the form of spiritual perception, of spiritual insight. The ability to see it strictly from Gods point of view, absent the presence of mans sinful inclination to interpret it differently on a conditional basis. In that, the spirit has a literal disconnection to it, from the sinful flesh. It does not seek the flesh in corporation with it, but rather is seeking to establish the fleshes irrelevance to us. To have it seen in us as a point of abandonment, where its point of view is ignored for what it request in to do that is sin towards God.
And
> With that in mind, as to my ability in knowing the nature of God in relation to the information of this mans lifestyle, it is no difficult thing to know its solution for you.
I have
> For me the verdict is clear, and the power to enforce it, is active in us to see it thru. Being resolute in life, is a powerful motivational force in you, and in this case, I am resolute to see only the image of image of Christ in you and all the church.
already
> If fact, I consider it now past tense in my thinking as to the details of the issue, and am moving on with the punishment phase of what must take place to put an end to this. The less said, the better, now that we all know the truth of his actions and the way of Christ in comparison, there is but one choice to it.
judged
> I have made my decision, as one who is in the right frame of mind to do so, not based in human analogies, but on the principles of who God is. Which is a higher standard than that of mans own conscience, and reveals a greater understanding of facts of this mans intentions, as not to be embraced and understood, but to be shaken off from you as quickly as possible. The thoughts of them that choose to practice evil should not be dwelt upon, for that defeats the purpose judgment against them. The idea of judgment is to remove them from our point and frame of reference in us, so that we dwell on the good character that we know in Christ. Examining evil to find out its evil, is of no value to holiness, but is done so by those of position, to protect those under their care, but even then, we should not steep ourselves in it. We should not forget the principle that those who are focused on the deeds of evil, even in fighting against them, are much to prone to then commit those evils themselves. As sin is a void and vacuum, seeking its fill in anyone that gives it their focus to do it.
the one
> He must be then judged in the court of Gods absolutes as that which we are attaining for and approaching, rather than the wavering thoughts of man as an existence in us. As is evident in you that such methods lead to indecision in such matters as these, leaving an out to do sin as a set practice among you. In that, this man himself has completed this action in him, and having committed his lifestyle to it. You then, in opposing sin, must fully commit the church and your lifestyles to the nature of God being complete in you, not just in response to him, but as the right thing to do.
who
> His was an action of disregard for the character of God, in that, he set aside moral restraint in the church, for personal conquest in his own life. He set himself as a standard, above the standard of God, in order to excuse his behavior before man. When someone makes the house of God irrelevant to his own designs of it, he builds a false image of God, and though it may not be in the shape of a simple object, it is nonetheless idol worship in place of Gods design of house of worship, the church.
did this,
> He preceded his lifestyle with his own desires in life instead of Christ, by acting on them in public and putting himself first in the church. Ignoring the image of Christ as the most relevant to him in the church, and then setting a standard which is different then that of Christ, which is then of himself absent the image of Christ.
just
> As an action on my part, I have placed myself right in the mix of this situation and not treated it as some distant event of no recourse to me. I am acting in a right manner myself, in place of and in opposite form than this man has himself done among you, a contrast if you will, of how you should be yourselves. The proper response in you to this is being displayed in me for you to conduct yourselves in, in union with me as an authority in the church by Christ appointment of me. I am in this as an avid attempt on my part, uniting my authority as Apostle, with your authority as local members of your church, to reinforce the right to act on this in a united front, despite our separation from each other.
as though
> I am holding court here on this, as if I were actually one living among you, discerning the events that unfolded there in your midst. I am acting on this issue as part of the business of doing church in life, which is not always, a pleasant thing to do. But it is that which is necessary to maintain the image of Christ in us at all times, so that we are not swayed by false themes on life, or lose focus of the sight of Christ in us. Because of that being the important thing for you, I am not delaying my conclusions for a time which might be better suited in the minds of some, to my actually being there.
I were
> Instead I am acting as one who has done the due diligence of discovery in the fact finding of this. Which need not be in the dirty details of this mans life, but only in knowing, is it for Christ glory, or for some other issue that he does this. From that, I am able to act on this, with all the presence of mind, of them who have carnal knowledge of the very issue at hand.
present.
> So that, I in my action concerning you, I am personally involved and have accepted responsibility in myself, for that which is occurring there. To be with you in it in my response to it, in that, I know that my advice to you in this is right for you, as it will lead you to Christ. Which I am willing to accept responsibility for in supporting you in that effort, whenever there is a failure of character of Godly principles among you. I am there in person, so to speak, as one who is ready to reassure you in the Godly principles as they are, as being sustainable in us as a united front in us.

5:4 When
> On that occasion then, this is how the spiritual state will exist with us as a description of that event itself. It will be a time of promotion of spiritual control in you, over physical realities that you now have. A time of change and alteration, that occurs because of the power of Christ that lives on in us, from that very point of our believing in him to be our salvation. In that event, will then be the revelation to the church as whole, the glory of Gods rule, to have his church pure in its attitudes and character, as that which it chooses to exist in.
you
> As your own place in this, it is of you to do it as a purpose in you, as a planned occurrence and not just a possibility. It must be first on your agenda, to clear the way for all other things to then occur. This is in your court to have it occur, not another’s, for it must be of you to acknowledge the truth of it and not just accept the judgment of others. This is your area of responsibility to act and not another’s to come in and do it for you.
gather
> You must be in one place, not just in bodily presence, but also in that of one mind to do the will of God in your life. Because for you to come together for the wrong reason is of no value, as the very reason you became Christian’s, is to escape that which had bound you to sins control of you, being set free, to pursue that which is God.
together
> This then is a union of your physical existence, to be under that of your spiritual control and not the other way around. It is the combined and public acknowledgment, of what and who you are as a result of your salvation in Christ. Your standard is no longer tied to present state of mankind, as the standard of you, in exercising what they derive from physical pleasure, which is the exchange of a short-term gain, for a long-term loss.
in
> But rather, you are taking the position, both as a mental state of yourselves and the lifestyle practice in you. That you will, with indifference to the patterns of mankind, exchange the lofty ideals of man, for the lowly thoughts of framing your lives in similitude with Christ’s, regardless of all of them together and their opinions of it. This will then become your banner in life, as the stated position of yourselves.
the name
> You will author yourselves then, not by your own writings, describing life as you see it, but by having yourself included in the word of God, as he having penned you into his way of living, in and thru you. You will change the short-term prominence of having it your way, for the long-term gain of living under the established institution of Gods power revealing itself in you. This is done by the public announcement of your existence being in that of another, and your own desire for that to be the case. It is much like the wife who takes on the last name of her husband, now having her identity known thru him, as representing the union of the one that they are become.
of our
> As it is thru that banner that rises over us, who is able to hold us together in one form that is greater than that which man can be in himself alone. Whether in being alone means, that is in combined efforts of mankind or the efforts of one who seeks prominence for him alone. None are substantial, when compared to the union that Christ provides in the spiritual pact that only he provides beyond the end of mans ability, which is where Christ is only beginning his work in us, just as the efforts of man, are exhausted. What are mans ends, is only the beginning of what Christ, as our champion of us provides. It is whom he is to us, which provides the clarity of where we are going with him. It is that stated position in us, in our relationship to him, which provides the future that we will come to want ourselves, if we confide in him, who he is in us, as being our only promotion out of this that has a hold on us physically.
Lord Jesus,
> So then, the position we are in physically, is only related to the position we are in spiritually, in the sense that the spiritual is taking over, what the physical is not capable of getting beyond. Therefore, for the spiritual to be in a state of promotion, it is then only logical that the physical is then in a state of demotion in us. Being left behind as we seek in us, the rule of Christ over us, as the Lord who alone is able to provide that existence for us, because it exists only in him.
and
> As a supporting role in this, I will make my position clear to you beforehand, so that you are able to follow my lead in this, and have it an already stated fact of church leadership, that this is the right action for you to take.
I am
> I will put my credibility on line, in the name of our Lord, showing that I believe myself, the words that I am speaking to you. As I would rather have the name of Christ go before me, as the promotion of what I am doing, than go anywhere on my own, for my own purpose. So I am in essence putting myself up front in this, only as one united to promote the kingdom of Christ, as the only true existence of the church to be in, if it is to be more than a name on a building.
with you
> By this action of myself, I am joining you in that which you are doing, even if I am not there with you, my stated position on this, puts me there nonetheless, as one with authority to have an overseer’s position among you, whether I am there or not. This means in essence, that I am one ruling over the process of what you are doing, as one watching to see that it is done with proper accord to Gods will alone.
in spirit,
> The spiritual aspect of what we are doing here, has its base in the mindset of the Spirit life that we now have in Christ. Before your spiritual rebirth, your soul had its entire destiny in the deeds of the flesh, which would in turn result in it paying the eternal debt to God for the deeds of the flesh. Now though, it is the Spirit that is in control of your souls eternal destiny, in that, before, the Spirit was dead and the flesh was alive. Now in relation to God, the Spirit is alive and the flesh, as though crucified on the cross with Christ, is now dead already. The Spirit, was the resurrection of Christ, not the crucified sin of the flesh. The Spirit wrestled control of the soul away from the flesh, where the soul is in the middle position of the flesh and Spirit, touching both, but where the Spirit and flesh do not ever meet. Having the knowledge then of the spirits working, you see that it is not bound by the physical limitations that restricts it activity to its location. But exist apart from it, so that what is of Christ to do in us as a body, is effective in our joint relationship to it, irrespective as to where we are in bodily form to each other.
along
> As the evidence of Christ in the church, for the intention of showing that Christ himself is also aligning himself with the church, even as we proclaim ourselves to be in him. It is for the purpose of public conformation that all of this takes place. It is not needed for personal revelation; God does that in each of us individually, this is to administer the corporate seal of God on the church, in a public form of the church. It is sort of like the statement, “all for one, and one for all”, where we agree to Christ as our standard, and he backs our hand in so concluding.
with the
> God at this time, creates in us the instrument of use, where we become the instrument of choice for him to be known thru. We become part of his character, so to speak, where we are representing the moral standing of him, concerning the sinful state of mankind. This is not our righteousness on display, but Gods on display before us, as the standard of us. It is the standard-banner that we place over us to identify who we are showing ourselves to be under the control of, an alignment of ourselves with that of God.
power
> Where God displays his authority over creation itself, it an act of his providence, to establish his character in the church, as representing him as a Holy God. Accomplishing this by doing it in mans physical realm, as God being the cause of it by being triumphant in the dominion of the flesh, which man is not able himself to do, or resist the effects of. It will be something that is manifestly, outside of the control man to have cause and effect over, because it is under the absolute control of God. Power is resolutely, the ability to move, that which will not be moved out of its own place of inertia, or to where it is being pressed into, against its form or shape to be in.
of our
> Which we have not as our adversary, but as our aid in doing, if we are on his side in judgment, so that we thru this participation with him, are taking his side of the issue. We then are like him in the learning process of that which he would have us to be.
Lord Jesus,
> Which in this process, also proves the title of himself, that he is Lord over creation, and has the authority and power to execute judgment thereof.

5:5 turn
> The sentence for this, on the one who has done wrong, to have justice done from the people, is to remove him from yourselves and imprison him in the sins of his desire. To allow him to experience the fullness of its corruption upon the mortal state of him, which he had chosen to toy with. Let him learn that this is not a game we are playing, but that it is that of our eternal state, which is being established for us to live in, now that we know what it is. To not desire the freedom of Gods grace to live in Holy union with him, is the desire to live in sin. And then that should also reveal its work in him and come with the consequence of it, which is what I am condemning him to in my judgment of him.
this man
> The consequences of one mans sin, should be upon him alone, brought on by the actions of the church, as they separate themselves from them who act upon their sinful desire, in blatant disregard for the truth of Gods plans of sanctification to exist in them here on earth. If the lifestyle choices of one in the church, do not admonish the church to holiness. To allow such disregard to exist in the church as an excepted behavior, even thru the inaction of the church, is to infect the church to experience the sins of it upon themselves. The character of this man, must then be a characterization of himself, and not allowed to become that of the church, so that he suffers the effects of his sin and not the church.
over
> Therefore, by expressly forbidding this to be an accepted lifestyle in you, you are communicating to this man that he is going to face his choices alone and not drag the church down with him. You are in essence, setting up boundaries for him and others in the church to see, that expressly do not condone his lifestyle, and demonstrate that to do what he has done, is cause for removal from the protective grace that comes from fellowship in the church. That the choices you make in your personal life, will have an effect in your church life, in that, you cannot live like the devil at home, and then come to church and receive the accommodations of a saint, as though your were merely checking into a hotel. The church doors of such accommodation, should be locked and open only to those who practice what we in the church preach are the attributes of God, made manifest in us, and this because of Gods protective authority over his church. This I say concerning the saints who have made Christ to be their profession of faith, not those being brought into the church as newborn babes, who have yet to learn the doctrines, or none Christians, invited to hear the salvation of God. This is reserved for them who have made clearly informed choices, to do evil, knowing the goodness of the Lord is there in its place for them.
to Satan
> To that end then, it is determined by their own actions, for them to be outside of Gods protective authority, is to be vulnerable to the warring powers of satan, who is seeking to destroy the creation of God and his glory of it. The devil has expressly stated that he desires to destroy the work of God, entirely out of spite and jealous rage against the glory of God. Who he corruptly desired to be, not in Gods Holy state, but as the most high in a lust for power. For this man, to then be released from Gods protection and sentenced by the church, to punishment in this prison state with satan. Reveals the nature of what this man has done, so that he should now live without the cloak of the church, as a refuge for him to practice such behavior from within. One cannot be allowed to play with the ways of the devil, and then run to the safety of the church, when the going gets rough out there. If they will not make the choice for the church alone, you must choose for them when they expressly choose sinful desires. It is then for them to exist only outside the church and to be expressly vulnerable to the evil powers of the devil.
for
> We must understand the full premise of that which we are doing in this, it is not by design, an effort to make us have a false sense of security in ourselves, which makes a statement that we are some how a better breed of people for so having acted against this man. That is not at all what we are doing, these actions, are nothing less then acts of spiritual warfare. Both a defensive act against the destructive nature of sin in the church, and an offensive action against sinful nature of that which is present in the life and practices of this man. This is not an occasion to be proud of yourselves, in your action for having come to judgment against him. For what this expressly reveals, is a failure of the church to have initially communicated to its members, that which they were attaining to in membership in the church community and that which was forbidden among them. That although grace may have canceled out the eternal damnation of the law that condemned us, it did not invalidate the truth of it. It in fact did just the opposite, in proving it right for us to establish our life upon the law, thru the power of Gods grace in us.
the destruction
> Because of the initial failure of the church, he must nonetheless, bare the consequences alone, for having taken the opportunity to sin, even though the church failed to act itself against the desires of his sin. For the church to now remain under the protective custody of God, they must choose to turn this one man over to power of the devil, who will torment him, as it is with the devil to do to Gods creation. This action of the church will expose this man to the full fury of the devil against the church of Gods glory. It will force this man to face the sins he has chosen head-on, to see if he is resolute to sin, so much so, that he cannot repent and desire instead the glory of Gods sanctifying power on earth. The goal here being, to purge from him the sin and redeem the soul, and in so doing, find in him the true glory of God. Even if God allows the devil to take his life, it is the justice that he has chosen for himself in pursuing a life of sin from within house of Gods church.
of the
> What we are then distinguishing here, is that which is our intent to do, from that which it may be observed in error, as that which we are intending. We want to make it fully clear that what we are intending, is to resolve the malaise of sins existence in us, not excusing it, as though it were commonplace for us to except it as part of the church, no matter its depravity. Yes, sin is present in us, so long as we live in this body of sin, but that is not the excuse we use to commit an even greater involvement with sins. Not now that God has given his power of grace to exceed sins influence over us, thru dependency on him to see sins power fail and his glory prevail. We ourselves may be far from perfect, but that does not hinder he who is able to perfect us, by our burying ourselves in his glory, who because of Christ in the message-of-the-cross, is right here with us, confronting that malaise of sin head-on, on our behalf.
flesh,
> As the source of our sin, is in our bodies being the host of the disease of sin as its breeding ground in us. Sin has taken root in us, in the very opposite form, that righteous has its roots in God, so that because of God, is holiness evident, as it is produced as an effect of that which is God. Sin then is produced in us, as that which is evident in us, as it is produced as an effect of who we are, in that because of us, sin is evident, as that which our bodies produce. Which it does so in the point I am making, in the very contrary nature of God, who is the cause, from that which comes holiness.
so
> The end objective in this then, is to bring an end to this situation, one way or another, so that sin cannot continue to maintain its root in the church, which is meant to have its roots in Christ. This is meant to invoke justice as an established trait of the church, when it comes in contact with the unjust actions of a man like this one. It is meant to bring an end to the situation living among you. Where the means justify in the end, because it is justice at work in you, according to the design of God to save us from the eternal effects of sin, despite what sin does to and thru our bodies.
that
> The purpose and intent of God, is to redeem us, to put an end to the sin nature in us and his judgment of sin in us. Because of that, God has in a way that only he can do, cutoff the effects of sin at the flesh, so that it cannot have any effect on the soul. In that, the soul is now under the control of the Spirit and not the flesh, which before Christ, had total dominion over the soul. And for the record, still does for those who do not find the message-of-the-cross as acceptable, with them relying only on the power of the grace of God to make it acceptable.
his spirit
> Our only recourse for them in the church then, who will not honor God with their lives in becoming the image of Christ, as was predestined in them to be. Is to advance the final pardon of their sins, by passing their bodies over to sin final work in them, which will still produce physical death in all of us eventually, who are not alive when the Lord returns. With the intention of reliving his soul the lingering effects of sin, which though its eternal destiny is no longer embodied with, it still suffers the ill effects of the body’s sin. Where death is inevitable, advancing it by the word of Christ in our agreement of this mans condition, is the best solution for him. So, as his Spirit itself, is perfect before Christ, do not think it harsh, as with all things considered, you are cutting off the effects of sin dominion over him, which is an enslavement to him right now. It is the right salvation for him though, even if it seems harsh to some, apart from his repentance, it is the judgment of Christ to be the end of him on earth.
may
> Which as I said, opens the door for him the step into eternal life, in the perfect union of the Spirit with Christ.
be saved
> That he may know Gods salvation first hand, which will take away the sins he has done and cutoff the works of the flesh. God will not in this, leave his work unfinished, so that this man will still come into Gods house complete, representing the image of Christ, despite his personal failures on earth. Which the same is true of each of us, in varying forms of sinful existence, that we ourselves will live and die with, even though some are to destructive on society to allow to go unchallenged or corrected.
in the
> Our promise, for one and all thru Christ, is to be brought into eternity with God, as that which is the victory of God over sin, represented by our presence there with him forever. We become the statues, so to speak, that will be living memorials to the victory of God thru Christ, over sin and the devil. This speaks of our eternal presence with him, which is still a victory, despite the evil we went thru to get there.
day
> Which will be revealed in this man also, at the appointed time that God has fixed, to put an end to time, all sinful flesh and evil spirits. However, for this man, it will be a rescue into eternal salvation, not an end to his existence. Something that in that time, he will not only acknowledge as just, but glorify God in agreement with, for having triumphed over him and his sinful state, that hid from him, the image of Christ in him on earth, as his understanding of it. We will in that time, glorify God for have proven our own sin in us, as odd as that may seem now, due to our own shame of it being openly revealed. We will be grateful that God has proven his glory greater than sin, even in the sins we committed ourselves. Because we will then see it as he does, from his perspective, without out the cloud of sin itself, able to reflect itself into our impressions of ourselves, due to sin. We will love the truth of God over sin, even when it is concerning the very guilt of that which we did also.
of the
> The center stage then at this time, will be the throne of Christ, who will be clearly seen as the Most High God. The one to whom all power will exist in, with which he will either promote you to eternal life, or pass judgment on them who would not thrust in him, over to the Father for judgment. So that them to whom are deserving of it, will be held to account for it, for having wasted the blood of Christ, for nothing on them. To whom the Father will then have his wrath found eternally in them also, for having so disrespected his only Son. Then holding them account, for every sin they have committed.
Lord.
> This will be that one event, when all of creation, all at on time, will know that Jesus is Lord over all of creation, and that God has proven his glory and perfect holiness thru him. Where all of creation, will also be aware of all other creation that had occurred throughout time. As every created being, will be involved in the establishment of Gods glory throughout eternity.

5:6 Your
> Knowing then what is before us, concerning the future of what will be our presence before a Holy God, as the standard by which we are judged and compared. To then elevate yourselves in your thinking, and consider that you are some how so worthy a component of the church, that even your sins are lauded as something of indication of your greatness. Is so out of step with the truth that will befall you, that you must realign the thinking of yourselves now, before that day comes quickly to you also, and it is too late then to act in the right manner.
boasting
> Because when the act of giving credence to sin, becomes an avenue to the delight in you. Where it literally becomes the form of entertainment in you, that gains the focus of your thinking in the church. It produces in you a standard of right and wrong, which itself is misguided, as being out of line with the standard of God. Where the mindset in you, is being determined in you by the human fascination with the carnal activities of other humans, instead of being involved with the daily activity of what God is doing with his people on earth. Where it causes you to look forward to the details of what men are doing, as opposed to looking forward to what God is doing presently, and anticipating what he will then do next, as the fascination in you.
is not
> What this does then is damage the character which exist in you, as to what is the standard bearer before you. It opposes the word of God in you, as it being the secondary part of your church life, by making church nothing more than a social event. A place where you go for the discussion of your humanity, rather than the discovery of God in you, as the focal point of your coming together. Those who exist in the Spirit of God should have a natural beauty to them, which is a representation of Gods beautiful Glory itself. Your sin allowance, that is, what you are finding as tolerable among you, is not at all representing that beauty of God, but the ugliness of the sin attitude that you have of your own selves and what you perceive as your Christian walk.
good.
> Part of the mature person in us, is being able to determine that which is healthy for the church and that which is detrimental also. So that in us, exist the frame of mind that we able lead others to Christ, by knowing what that means our self. Not in just knowing that he saves us from our sins, but that we now exist in him, according to his lifestyle that he is the standard of. It is being able to say publicly, whether it is popular or not, that you are set on the standard goal of having yourself made over in the image of Christ on earth, so much as it is able in you to do thru Gods power in you.
Don’t
> By now, considering how long you have been a Christian community, this should be a historical fact of the Christian culture that you live by. Where you know as common knowledge what constitutes Spirit life in the church, which is seeking out to do the right thing, as opposed to, just, avoiding sin in the sense of duty, and then, what is the recipe for disaster also of seeking to sin in the church. Both are clearly definable as the very basics of what you will become, as the leading representation of your church. These basics will become the essence of what you be established in, as you live life in the church.
you know
> So then, your acknowledgment of this, describes the very basics of your thinking. It reveals your understanding of right and wrong, as a reaction in you, according to the higher standards of God and not the shifting imaginations of man, to have it be what suits them best at that time. So that knowing something and acting upon it is two different things; knowing the house is on fire, is not the same thing as escaping from a burning home to then extinguish it, or to just watch it burn. Then in the same respect, preventing it in the sense that, knowing that a house will burn and having some very basic and logical safety methods of not containment. In that there will be fire in that home for cooking and heating as part of our humanity, we know its danger but restrict it, so that it does spread to the house itself, is understood and taught.
that
> So as is fire to wood, so is sin an active ingredient in us, it is not inert, we should realize that what we involve ourselves in, then in turn, involves itself in our life. That life has a reciprocating effect on us, in that what is done at one part of the church body, even in the occasional sense of allowing it, will still remotely effect what occurs in another part of that church body on an ongoing and fulltime basis. In the human body, an infection begins at the microscopic level, yet is able to overtake the whole body, if it goes untreated.
a little
> The size and portion of sins allowance in us, does not determine its end effect in the church, because as sin is an active ingredient, it sparks the chain reaction on that which in itself, may be in an inert state and not acting on its own to participate in sin. Yet, our life will be engulfed in sins spread, if our life is in the inert state itself, in that, in an inert state, it is not reproducing the anti-sin agent of holiness, as its active state of life in us. Which is seeking to do right things as Jesus did, he didn’t just not sin, he sought out the right things in life to do and live by, which is by some definition, a Spirit filled or living in the Spirit, life. So just as idle hands are the devil’s tools, and dry wood is ripe for fire to consume it, so if we are inert in activity, in that, we are not seeking holiness by seeking out right things to do, we are ripe for sin to dominate us.
yeast
> So some common things of life, teach us of sin, such as, when we bake bread, there is a recipe for it, that determines the rising and height of the finished bread. And the one thing to see in this process, is that for the yeast to have its effect on the bread, we need only set it aside and just leave it alone to alter the dough from its inert state, we cannot interfere with the yeast acting in the dough. This yeast then, represents sins activity in the church, so that for it to be successful in giving rise to even more sin in the church, all we need do is leave it alone, and sin will have its effect on us. Yet by our thinking though, if we ignore it, it will go just away, which itself is in error, as the yeast in the dough teaches us.
affects
> So then sin, as is the yeast, when set off on its own, will cause a chain reaction in the church, that the church then becomes the victim of, not because it went looking for sin, sin found them, because it was tolerated as acceptable in your frame of mind in some small portion. However, because they were not themselves, involving the greater activity of Gods holiness in them, as the neutralizing agent to sin in the church, in order to disturb sin’s action. Because sin cannot give rise to more sin, when it encounters Gods holiness, because Gods holiness conquers sin, for lack of a better phrase to describe it in human words, of that which God is. Because God is not just resistant to sin, for him it is an impossibility for his nature to sin or respond to sin as an inert being, as there is no inert part of God. I suppose it would be something like, where there is light, there is no darkness, as we are understood to know God as. Because darkness is inert, but the holiness of God is perpetually active, as is light in him. Where darkness prevails in us, as who we are in our inert state, because of the absence of light, and that allows sin to act on us in the absence of Gods presence of holiness in us at all times.
the
> So we are the end source of both sin and holiness, we are the ones who it alters to that which it is not, as the accepted lifestyle that we live in; the holiness of Christ in us to eternal life, or our sin nature in us to eternal death. They effect us in our life, as a law of what they are, but it does not effect God, because of the lawful state of that which he is. In that, Christ did not have to die for our sins, as a result of the law forcing him to do it, he choose too. For Christ it was an act of submission by choice, not by force, which led him to the cross. He stated this himself concerning his life, “no one takes it from me, but I lay it down by myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again.” For us to then be in the image of Christ, we must also choose to do the right thing. To seek an end to sin by seeking to do the righteousness we saw in Christ, as that being an activity in us, as opposed to just having a list of do’s and don’ts that we are satisfied with.
whole
> As the body of Christ, we then bear the responsibility of protecting ourselves from the influence of sin going on in us, in that, if it goes undisturbed or interfered with, as it is not passive, but active in us by its very nature, it will spread throughout the body of believers. Holiness is also an active ingredient in us in the church, that we must recognize as having even more power, not just over us, but for us as a benefit from God. It is the nature of God that we adopt in us as our lifestyle, as that which is the only anti-sin agent that exist for us. Which is accomplished by living in the Spirit, which is seeking to do the right things, much in the same way that one seeks a mate for life, you search also for the right things to do, which will be the cause to effect holiness in you.
batch
> Every local church then exist as a living cell unto itself, and their state determined by the standards they set according to the maturity in them to seek the right things of God and not just the status quo of mankind. You as leaders, must know and be aware at all times, of that which you are becoming, so that you can tell God where you are as a course in life. As strange as that may sound, that is what God wants to hear from you, your own self-analysis of where you think you are, it shows him your observation skills are active and maturing. Now also, when I say the local church is an active cell unto itself, I do not mean that what occurs in you cannot spread to other churches, but that its effect, is mostly localized and felt most strongly in you, as each lump of bread dough represents. Therefore, you have both the most to gain, and the most to lose by your reaction to Gods Spirit of holiness, and the activity of sin, when one is present in you.
of dough?
> You being the representation of Gods local church, you must determine the culture in you, by reviewing yourself according to what God reveals of himself to you. So that sin is not active in you, in the same way that the yeast is active in the dough, altering its shape if left unattended. As believers, God has given you the ability, to interfere with sin, and end its effect on you, but you must be aware of your activity being that of seeking out the right things to do, as that which is proactive in you. Just as Jesus sought to do right things, not just not to sin, not sinning was not the plan of Jesus, it was the side effect of living like his Father does, which was his plan, focus being his keen observation to that success.

5:7 Clean
> There is no more difference in your mindset of dealing with sin, then there is in dealing with cleaning chores of ones own home. If you do the right things first, in cleaning up spilled milk right away, it won’t spoil in its place, and gather even more of a mesh to itself. It is when we put off maintaining a clean home, or in this respect, a clean heart, which leads to an even lower standard of living that we accept for ourselves, as the normal behavior of ourselves.
out
> That is why we must learn to not allow for the build up grime in the first place, so that it does not take a lot of effort just to return to a right place or standard in us. It means a regular inspection of ones heart and the activity it is desiring of, to have an understanding in us of where we are heading in life in relation to God. Are we becoming and maintaining a clean heart, or is it suffering the effects of layer upon layer of buildup, of sinful activities and desires, because we do not clean it thoroughly and regularly before it becomes unmanageable? Every new believer brings with them in their newness with Christ, the old sin nature, and it habits in them, which they have not even yet considered to be sin. If they do not have a higher standard to attain to, by seeing in the church that they have a need for change in their heart, they will simply add their practices of sin, to yours.
the old
> It does no good though, to just do a partial cleaning, and then expect a life which is anything more than symbolic to that which is truly clean, tokens are just that, they have no innate value, but are a false substitute of the real thing. Picking up some papers, or just moving things into a pile, does nothing to remove the dust and accumulation of dirt. You must throw out the stagnate mess and remove it from your presence to accomplish this feat in you. Washing your hands, which your eyes can see, does not make your face clean, which your eyes do not see. It takes the efforts of the whole church, in both observation and removing the sin from all our body, to be as clean as your eyes see your hands to be. Not to mention, that sin has never worked for you in the first place, it did not accomplish that which it lured you into doing, which is to be fulfilled thru the desired encounter with it. When in fact, what it gives you, is no more than a mere token of Gods pleasure, a false substitute, in place of his true pleasure, which is only found in God, thru Christ. As it is true that there is pleasure in sin for a little while, it is also true, that it robs from you true joy for years to come; yet Gods pleasure is without end. Sin is, as it always is, complete deceit, in every facet of that which it is, there is no truth in sin; it fails to deliver on its promise, every time.
yeast
> It is because of this old sin nature that you became a Christian, because of it, you found out and understood thru the law, that you were in need of salvation. To then live in sin, as an accepted practice, is self-defeating, in that, the very reason we came to Christ was to escape the slavery of our sin, thru a relationship with God. So to then tolerate it as a norm among you is then self-defeating. Sin ferments in the body, and causes an intoxication to sin, an addiction that cannot be withdrawn from. The body merely exchanges one sin of addiction, for another, it never conquers sin itself, because only the holiness of God is capable of this.
so that
> The reason that we do this moral cleansing then, is so that we do not remain where we did not want to be after hearing of Christ redemption, but remained there due to the difficulty of sins hold on us. It is for the purpose of continuing the new process which Christ began in you upon receiving him in faith. Your regeneration began with your reborn Spirit, and is continuing in the process of redefining your life according to what Christ taught you.
you
> The focus here, is not just one way, you can now see God and set your focus on him, because he first set his sights on redeeming you. You have essentially been given new legs to stand on, so to speak. You will have a new mode of speaking, a new frame of mind to conceive that which you are doing. New eyes to see what are the ways of God with, which before were hidden from you and a new heart that is sensitive to do right things, for the simple fact of doing right. This then, all combined, leads to a new appearance of what you are, not in just token form, as is sin’s representation of what it makes of you, but the true nature of what Gods is creating anew in you. You are Gods offspring now, and that which he wants to nurture and grow as a good Father does.
may
> What you have been given is opportunity, with the ability to change, not just a chance to change. This is not an odds on favorite situation, where you are taking a risk where you might lose in the end. That is not at all what God is offering you, God is offering the absolute of himself, to be in you, to empower you, to be fully and as completely made over in the image of Christ. So that it will be fully a part of you, as you are willing to realize and attain that also. Though God will use parenting methods with you, which means he will not allow you to race on ahead of your own abilities by his hand. Which means he prunes us back at times to allow for a time of rest and reflection of where we are, which can be frustrating at the time. He will not keep you in sin, just to hold you down to be less than himself, his goal in creation was to have you in his image at all times, and that is still his desire for you. Of course, if we have the mind of Christ in us, and are only seeking to do right things, purely for righteousness sake, that is where God wants us to be, and the pruning is not necessary at that point.
be
> That is where God takes you from the training of his ways in you, to the promoting and advancing of his ways in the lives of others. He takes you from student, to teacher; he assigns for you a place with him as a fellow member of himself. Mind you, a teacher of Gods way, need not ever speak a word concerning all that God is, from in front of a classroom, as is said, actions speak louder than words. And so it may be for you, that does not diminish who or what you are, just because you are not at the head of the class. Those who strongly desire to be at the head of the class, who need it to feel fulfilled in what they are doing, may just be the weaker soul, in that they may fail when they are alone, without the support of them in the class. So that it is the class that is supporting them, not them that is supporting the class. That does not make them lesser from Gods use, as you might fail if you had to do what they in front of the classroom. It comes down to how God is using you in the church, as that which you should be in the church for which you were created for.
a new
> Your objective then, is to have all things new, and a fresh perspective of life itself, now that you know your creator and his desire for you to be in his image. This should be in you as a youthful exuberance, despite your physical age, the Spirit of God will always be young at heart, simply because he does not age. Neither does God tire from that which he is doing in us, for him, investing himself in us, is an eternal plan, not a temporary fascination. This investment then, is indicative of where we are going and what we are becoming. God is the return on us, of that which he is investing in us. When here on earth, one invest money in a company project, it is to achieve thru that project, a return on that project in the form more money than the initial invested amount. And at the same having the project become and embedded part of society, to be accepted and drawn on by society for that which it delivers. This is then indicative of what God is doing in you the church, with his investment of righteousness, seeking a return on it of righteousness, and a desire for more of it from him.
batch
> As a church then, you are to be a formation of Gods desire in you, to exist for his pleasure, not your own, after all, you could have stayed where you were with the world, if that was your desire. You came to Christ, because he revealed your guilt under the law, and your need of redemption because of the guilt. It would now, not make sense, to hold onto the sin that you did not want when you came to Christ, acknowledging that it was wrong at that time. Gods knows of your bondage in sin, and it is that bondage, which is trying to keep itself entangled with you in the church. As a body though, you have the strength of many to stand together and turn away from sin as having an established place with you. As new believers come to Christ among you, their sins need to find the exit door, as they learn to stand with those who have already been down that path before them and they see the prosperity of righteousness at work in you. The problem is, you as a church, have yet to make that initial stand, of telling sin to find the exit, it has a foothold in you, because you have not shown it the exit. That is what you must now do, so that you will be revived in the working of Gods Spirit in you.
of dough,
> The substance of who you are, needs to be changed at the spiritual level, so how you see yourselves, is based in that of a spiritual mindset. Then the growth in you, will be reflected in the growth of that nature in you, as the Spirit having the dominate theme of how you evaluate life as your base, and not comparisons based in ones sinful state, to another’s. Our spiritual minds should evaluate the church of God and his activity among us, not our sinful wants in life, which do not want God at all, even in the church.
since
> Add to your knowledge of this then, the fact that God has also changed the nature of how he sees you now. God now deals with us in accordance to that which we are before him now, as both a legal and relationship standing, and that then as he sees it, not as we see it. God does consider us to be in a separate place from himself, as was in the temple, with the veil as representing the separation that God was keeping as the standard, preventing us access to himself. It was Gods anger at our sin that was separating us from him, not our sin specifically, even though it was the origin of his anger, in that, sin did not hurt or threaten God. It frustrated him though that we were so willing and blind to do it, this is not an attempt to make light of the sin though, that is not my message. If it was the sin, we would still be separate from him, but we are not because his anger is no more, because Christ allowed God to take out his anger on him, instead of us. God now sees us in one place together with him, because his anger is gone, not his resistance to sin, and that, which we are, is under his care and protective custody to end our dependency on sin. God created us as dependant beings on him from the beginning; we were never eternal beings as out natural state, without his eternal care for us by design. Our resource for existence has always been linked to God from the beginning for us to survive, as opposed to angelic beings, which were created to be independently viable for eternity. God knew that of course, as he designed it that way for them and us. Therefore, it is no wonder than that God is our resource for our strength, because we literally exist in him.
you are,
> Consider your state then, from what you were to where you are, think about it so that you understand clearly what your legal state with God is, and how he views your relationship with him, so that you can assimilate it back to him, which is his desire. If you believe, that if God said it, and therefore it is true; as all power consist in him to say it, or not, and make it so. Then you have a state in you that exist, apparently unknown to you, in that, the actions you display, say that you do not portray that as a belief, as being the case. In other words, your actions do not acknowledge what your mind understands your relationship to God to be.
in fact,
> The truth is then, your life displays a portrayal of your heart, as to what you believe, despite what you say. So you need to find out what you truly believe, by looking at how you live, so that you can evaluate it according to what God say’s is the truth, in which he alone has the power to enforce. That way you can see where you are, from where you should be, agree with God about it, so that he can lead you down the right path to him.
without
> God has based the entire church on him and his nature, having nothing to do with mans thought or original design of it, which would corrupt it or make it into something that is not directly proportionate to him; we are invited participants in it after the fact. Unlike the fall of man, in which we came out of perfection and into sin, the church is designed for man to come out of sin and into his perfection. A complete reversal of fortune, of what was to befall man from the garden experience, which cast him out of Gods fellowship and eternal life support structure. This church body brought us into his fellowship and eternal life support structure, but this time in a body which will not be allowed to fall into sin, as it would have to take Christ into sin for that to happen, and that is impossible.
yeast.
> This Kingdom is a spiritual one and so is its true body, our physical existence is not what the nature of it is or will be in the future. The Spirit is perfect in every way, as it is a creation of Christ, as a reflection of himself. Having this knowledge, we then come back to why we became Christians in the first place, and that was because we were caught up in sins grasp and we knew it. Wanting to be freed in Christ from its hold on us, we chose to withdraw from the world, to pursue what would be his true nature in us.
For
> We next need to understand the premise of how Christ fit into the process of the relationship between man and God. That Jesus was here to become a covering for us until sin has ended in us in the death of our bodies, and the judgment of God has declared us innocent of sin, as an eternal state in the last day of time. Jesus is the real truth of the Jewish religion, which came to replace the external religion, and be there in place of the symbolism which is practiced in Jewish culture, which was only representing that which did occur in the past and was coming in the messiah.
Christ,
> This title of purpose, which Jesus fulfilled in being the Christ, was that of a position which identified him as the promise of God. The Christ, was one in the position of deliver, who came with the power of God, which is permanent by appointment, and of which there is only one.
our
> Jesus then had a mission that came with his position as the Christ, which was to do for man that which he was not able to do for himself. Man did not understand the reason or the need of a Christ who would suffer for us, as we were living just in the present, we just did not get it, but God does. Therefore, Jesus became the Christ to protect the believers from the wrath of God in the Day of Judgment, and to open the door of fellowship with God, for the church to exist in now. Because God knows that we do not get it, when it comes to the necessities of salvation, but he does get it, and that is why he did it for us, because he gets it, but we don’t.
Passover lamb,
> First, is the source of our need made visible in the action of Christ perfection on earth, as he was without the blemish of sin in him. We saw in Jesus, that which was absent in man, which was perfect holiness in the very nature of who he was. Yet destined for that which he had no part in, that is, paying the price because of his innate value, for what he did not owe, as being the lesson for man to know what God had to do to save man. This represented the mourning of the loss that would be experienced by God to save man, and was to be expressed in among humans with an actual choice lamb out from each family. So that they could learn of the emotional toll, it would take on God to save them thru Christ.

Second, it was symbolic of what it took to prevent the judgment of God from wounding the Jews before the exodus from Egypt. A judgment which was designed to weaken the hand of them that oppressed the people of God, which he came to deliver them from the bondage that they were in. So depending on your state with God, it was either a time of judgment or deliverance from judgment and bondage. It was meant to demonstrate the division of man and God, and the harsh realties of it. It also demonstrated that God does take sides in issues on earth, God is not quiet in his dealings with man; he is vocal and backs it up with action. The blood on the doorpost was to represent the protective power that God assigned to it, to keep his wrath from coming upon them inside. Which was a picture of Christ blood would be given to us in the same protective manner, which it did because God assigned it for that purpose, and that is the only reason it works.

Third, Christ is our celebration for having come as one without sin, into the presence of sin, to make a way for it to be nullified in us. It is the reason for us to rejoice and have knowledge of what Christ did as a fact of history, which has altered the lives of all those throughout time, who responded with faith towards God, as God revealed himself to them. As the feast of unleavened bread was present in Jewish history, as celebration of the fact that God was without sin, and to be without sin, was a worthy cause for celebration. It was a ritual to call to memory, the difference between fallen man and their perfect God and that they were to be full with the bread of Gods perfection and to hastily depart the bondage of sin.
has
> This was then being done by God and not man, as was not the case for Passover rituals that involved man in the initiations of it. In this case, with Jesus as the sacrificial lamb where God initiated it, provided the lamb. As taught by how he dealt with Abraham in providing him with a sacrificial lamb, in that manner God made the sacrifice, with all the preparation that went into it according to the law, was all done by God, with man being blind to the whole process of it.
been
> The process, now having occurred for us, we can now see what at the time was the unknown action of God, doing for man, what they could not do for themselves. This is most notably, a finished work in every sense; there is nothing that went unattended or unaccounted for in God providing our salvation for us. Because it was all in the hands of God to declare what the need of salvation was, so that he was able to then complete that need accordingly.
sacrificed.
> That need then, was determined not to be available thru any man who was born after the biological seed of Adam; because his seed was tainted with a sin nature. Therefore, God provided a new seed, which was not from Adam, to impregnate a Virgin named Mary, to provide us Jesus, who was with out sin nature. This was possible because a woman’s egg is inert, in that, it does not initiate or pass on its own base of sin nature. It is the male seed that is the active part of procreation and therefore, it is the sin nature of man, which man then passes on to both men and women. So even though Mary herself knew sin, it was not passed on to Jesus, as the active seed in him was of the Father in heaven. This made Jesus an acceptable sacrifice for the sins of them who were unacceptable to God in their sinful state.

5:8 So then,
> As a result of this knowledge, we are able to revise our mindset in us, so that we respond in the church, in a way that is of the church, and not a revised method of mans perception of God, which is not like God, but like man.
let us
> This should be an action that comes out of us, not one that is forced upon us like the law, where we obey with our duties, but not our hearts. What is best for us, is to enjoy the beliefs of God, as having rest in us, as that which we believe also, and not just consent to, in a “whatever”, frame of mind.
celebrate
> This truly is a good thing for you to experience, as a regular part of your life. You should get all excited about it, and the prosperity of right thinking, which it will provide for you. As you will now have the cause of your celebrating, as an internal action in you, and not a symbolic religious act that you simply observe. In fact, you were all along the reason for the religious observation to take place, as a representation of you and your relationship to God.
the festival,
> We must remember that the reason for the celebration, was not the festival, or the time of the year, or any such material thing. The celebration and the festival that caused it, was due to the truth of God, which it was there to represent. It is as it always is, that we replace the true nature of what God has given us, with a false idol or representation of it, instead of what God is meaning it for. The purpose of the festival was not to eat and drink, but to agree with God, as to what was right and wrong, as he declares it to be, not as man would have it to be in the world.
not
> That means that we do not try to apply the ways of man to the ways of God, in that, there is no coalition between the two, the mindset of man, is not like the mindset of God. We should prevent the obvious intentions of man, from polluting the ways of our hearts, in our relationship with him.
with
> We are joined to that which we do or think, it is not of no effect, that which we practice in life. If we do it at work, it will invade our home, and if we do it at home, it will show up at work. The same thing goes for our religious outlook toward God and the way that we approach our thinking of it. Our thinking must be framed, in order to keep it properly aligned with God. Knowing that our home and church, are one and the same, inseparable from one another. Duality is not a part of Gods character, therefore it cannot exist in you either, for you to remain on the path of righteousness, you must be of one mind, as God is. Therefore, in the end, this is a place of position that you take in life, which describes what you believe yourself to be right in and the method, you are applying to your life to get you there. It is not just a public position you take; it is the intent to practice this in the privacy of your home, as to that which you portray yourself to be in public.
the
> Which points us to what you have among you now, as opposed to what is the proper place to be in. We see in you, the opposite of what God is, and what are his moral attributes of life.
old yeast,
> In the past, you had practices and methods of your life, which were not part of what God created you for, they were at enmity with God, causing a riff between you and him. Call them bad habits that you did on a regular basis, or just occasional taking advantage of opportunities that you did, knowing that they were wrong. God refers to these all as sin, and sees no difference as to what they cause in you, even if he does view some as more grievous than others, in that, throwing a rock thru a window and hitting a person with a rock is different.
the yeast
> That which is behind the action that you did before you came to Christ, was that of your sin nature. It is that old strategy of life that you continually depended on, but always failed you, which you must resign from in life.
of vice
> Leaving behind having a general character about yourself which is seeking to pursue sinfulness, excusing immoral behavior, in the face of excellence of character, or justifying sin out of hand for no reason, with a lack of confession of your sin. A basic disregard for the truth, as defined by God for you to do, it is having a mind that is dominated by thoughts of doing sinful things, which does not give way to acts of love, but sees them as wasteful. Not a specific sin, but a preoccupation with sin, having a mental disposition towards it, like a bully does towards his general actions towards others, a predominance of character.
and evil,
> But then also the acting out of sin, to actually commit the thoughts of the heart and to put them into action. Much more than a thought or a wish of sinning, but the actual wound and scare of it left in the flesh. Sin is a mortal wound to the body, whether its effects are immediate, or accumulated over time, such as substance abuse, or in this case sexual immorality.
but
> Instead what you will be doing, is basically altering the diet of your life, for life. You are going to need to abandon the lifestyle of reckless living and carousing, for that of a healthy one, which improves upon your condition and remains sober. Before you did not care, or you just neglected to take care, in regard to spiritual health.
with
> But now, it will be the source of all your strength, and you must also see it in your mindset, as the only possibility of advancement for you. It is where you make your stand in life and establish the position of which you are. Making guidepost or your moral thinking, for you to refer to and keep you on track.
the bread
> The substance itself, needs to be visible in all aspects of what it is, in that, it must be obvious in the sight of others, that you have a recipe of life, which is not that of the world.
without
> That you have left out the main ingredients, that they live on, and that you have no taste for them any longer. They need to see that they cannot make what you got, with what they got. This is a lesson for you to be in also.
yeast,
> As what you have is based in Gods holiness, which does not contain sin of any kind. Where by comparison, God says we in the flesh, lack any form of godliness, God then lacks every form of sinfulness in him. It is outside of the realm of nature of who he is.
the bread
> Therefore, we develop in us a new substance, that which is in the recipe to produce a completely different result, than that of our past. It not only is that which we consume, but that which consumes all that we are.
of sincerity
> You need to have in you, a distinct action and a heart for your behavior, where it is motivated by the pure thinking towards others. That which tends to be transparent in you, as being visibly pure in its intent and nature, without ulterior motive for that which you do, as being the obvious. No hidden agenda in you, so as is the difference between the sunlight, which reveals that which is there, and the dark which hides all things. You need a predominance in you, as being an absolute to the pureness and openness of the sun, so to speak, as opposed to darkness.
and truth.
> It cannot be a subjective truth in you, which is debatable among men as to its essence and collapses beneath you under peer pressure. It is the unalterable truth and the foundation in you, which you rely on because it is not of man or human origin, but is based on Gods power for it to be the truth, even if we do not comprehend the truth. We do not need to understand the judgment of God to comply with the reality of it and escape it. The fact that it will happen and have eternal consequences to it, is the truth because God has the absolute power, to enforce it on creation. And when something is absolute, all other things by comparison are lies if they oppose it, in that, there is but one absolute, which does not have a relative existence by nature. In other words, all things are relative to it and receive their nature or state from the absolute, but have no effect on the absolute. Because all things are under Gods judgment, he affects them, according to his design for them and not our supposition of them. We must therefore be inline with Gods absolute truth, for there to be truth in us.

Correcting a Misunderstanding

5:9 I
> This is not the first time that I have had to engage you in this matter, it would seem that you are repeat offenders, when it comes to this issue. This then leaves me no alternative but to then be a repetitive teacher of the same subject matter, rather than a new teacher, of newer and more prosperous teachings for you. If this is where you are, then I will not be able to advance you beyond this message of repentance towards sin.
wrote you
> The fact that I put things in writing for you, it would appear is not sufficient for you, in the form of basic instruction for you to apply it. In that, you have chosen to ignore it and not make it the bedrock for your church. It would appear that you received my letter like some hear instruction, where it goes in one ear, and right out the other. Never being retained for future reference and remembrance in your Christian walk. Nevertheless, I gave the instruction, so you are not just ignorant of the truth. It was for your benefit that it was written, not mine, therefore it was in your best interest to adhere to it.
in
> Contained in that letter, was the moral instruction that you needed to apply for you to maintain spiritual growth and avoid the pitfalls of the weak flesh. It would allow you to take a stance or position in life, which others could emulate and build upon, and draw a line in the sand for a visible absolute in you. This for the world to see the difference between Godly roots in you an, the moral disobedience of the world, and for you to have your stake in God.
my letter
> That which I sent to you, was a reflection of that which I teach in person, it was the same view that I hold with everyone in the church everywhere, just as I have put in writing for you to refer too. It gave you a description of my own mindset in life, so that you could have a record of understanding of how I think and achieve spiritual growth in this life. This is also descriptive of what I was taught by Christ to teach to you.
not to
> What I told you, was that there was a definite place for you not to be in, so far as the stance or your position in life. Things to avoid which come in direct contact with you on a regular basis, which would be considered acceptable and a general practice among you. This was meant to viewed by you, as one reads a warning sign of danger, a place where you should in no way venture into, for the harm its environment would bring down on you.
associate
> In this case, I was referring to the mere human interactions with those who prefer evil over holiness. Because in the long haul, you will assimilate the lifestyle which exist around you in others. It is clearly evident of this in every culture that is not like your own. Where they have living in them, the practices of generations before them, of that which they consider themselves to be. Those that you hang around with, you will soon become yourself, as it is the lure of the flesh to be like them and not like God. Those who keep the company of snobbish people, will be convinced of their own superiority, without any evidence to back it up, but only that of the company they kept which agreed to such thinking. The positive affects of this are also available for them who prefer Godliness, and the company of the saints. For them who attain to such things that are of Gods culture to be in them, in that, moral absolutes are available to them to live in, as a culture, who desire them.
with
> When you integrate your life with the lifestyle of sin, that is what you will be representative of in life itself. You are in essence combining your efforts with another for that cause in life; therefore, you become its only life support system for it to thrive on. You must see your alignment with them as more than mere encounters of personal entertainment, it is much more devastating to you, than you are realizing, and its effects are able to destroy you, and your community, without repair.
sexually
> When we engage then with that which is natural for us to do, but use it for unnatural goals, it becomes sin. Sex is the powerful example of this; it is completely natural by Gods design of it for us to engage in sex. But because of its natural drive and excitement it produces in us, it must done in managed form of marriage or it will rage out of control. Fire contained is good, but outside its boundaries, consumes and destroys all that it encounters. That is why we use the fire of passion and the burning with lust to describe it, because it has the power to consume it, if we do not contain it.
immoral
> Outside of that framework of Gods design then, is where it then takes the form of sin in our lives. It produces a mindset of living for that sexual desire, in place of living for godly desires, which is where the hearts of these are who practice them as a lifestyle. God meant it to be exclusive to one man a woman, but the world uses it to be inclusive with many, outside of Gods creation of it.
people.
> They are then a culture that lives to reproduce the effects of that sin in themselves as a product of life itself. They have become a self-serving people, existing to only lust as their course in life. They have as a program in them, to sin continually as their purpose in life.

5:10 In
> Now, I need to clarify the application of what I just said, so that you do not apply it out of context of life in general, and know clearly the application of it in a specific area of your new life. Because what I say about the world is true, but since we are sent into the world to convert sinners to Christ, the message that I am sending you has to deal with the closer to home issues. The place of where you are living as a church concerning those whom you acknowledge as being one of you, and not where the church is located as a body per-say.
no way
> I was not in any way referring to what you must have thought I meant, that I was in some way eluding to the cutting off contact with the outside world. That is a complete misunderstanding of what I said, and out of context of our mission, which Christ gave us to do.
did
> My purpose, was to provide you with a healthy forum and environment for spiritual growth, so that you could survive in the world and have an effect on others, so that they could follow you back to Christ. I was not promoting an idea of becoming an island of separation from others, who were not Christian though.
I mean
> My intention, for you with that purpose was to activate in you, the resource of a safe haven or refuge, from which you could have a spiritual base of operations to go out into the world, and have a safe place to return to with new converts. A place where there would be an immediate difference projected into them, of the light of Christ, which was flourishing in you. In other words, the object of discussion in the letter, was you in the church, not them in the world.
the
> Those who do those things in the world, who do not seek repentance before God, are of Gods concern and not ours. By that I do not also mean that you should not be civic minded, that provides the opportunity for you be known as a Christian among the world as your witness of Christ. I just do not want you to think that becoming a Christian is a point where you leave the people of the world behind, but rather the sin that is in the world, is the target of your separation.
immoral
> What you are doing, or supposed to have done, is to understand that some of them are as you were, and that they are wanting the same escape from sins hold on them that you found in Christ. In that, just as I or another came to you with the message-of-the-cross, that you should come out of the sin in the world and be reunited to the Father thru Christ in the church. Sin in general, will not cease if you stay in the world of remove yourself from it, but others can find Christ thru your witness, if they see you sustaining yourself against sins influence, but they are powerless to it. It is their sin nature that should be your target of separation, not the fact that some of sins general influence is active among them, which you are not partaking of yourself. The fact that the nature of this kind of sin, which is sexual, is a personal sin in you, it is a sin against your own body, which defines it as a unique category of sin. Makes it one which can effect your health and well being for life, and produce life as its aftermath, which you are then responsible for.

> It is important to note that their sin is not your sin, just because it happened in your presence, does not make you guilty or responsible for it. Jesus was surrounded by sin, took shelter in the homes of the most vile of reputation and rejected the company of those of apparent religious superiors, as far as the world deemed them anyway.
this world,
> The civic structure of the world, is not the object of our attention, nor the sin they do, our main objective to put down. We call it what it is, but we have no agenda concerning what they do, so as to having them conform to a religious appearance, without the knowledge of Christ in them. We resist evil, yes, and any positive affect of that is good, but our goal is to sanctify our lives in the church, not sterilize the world or community around us. It is for us to be heavenly minded ourselves, reviewing our own thoughts and behaviors, not those of our neighbors or putting up fences with keep out signs posted. When it come to the ways of the world, we must be farsighted to that providence of Christ, so that we are focused on eternity with Christ and not the social position that we have in this world, so that we allow it to effect our place in it.
or
> Nor is it for us to get particular and descriptive about them, naming names and setting categories of our feeling towards them, as true as they may be, that is not our goal in the church, that is the work of governments to do, not the church.
the greedy
> The fact that they exist who only live to gain more than they currently have, is no resource to us, nor even to them, even though they do not know it. However, they are also not a detriment to the kingdom of God, which is not based in the obtaining of more, for it has all that it could seek in God himself. We must see their want, as not taking away from us anything that we desire, because our desires should now be based in the things of Christ, which are not attainable thru the accumulations of worldly possessions. Therefore rejection of them as someone who we will not have the most casual of contact with, does not further the Kingdom of God in us. Neither does their sin whose nature of it is to accumulate material wealth, as their definition of self-worth, affect us in our state in Gods Kingdom, as our self-worth, is based in the immortal being of Christ.
and swindlers
> Those who lurk and plan with premeditation, how they can extort from others what is not theirs, also does not take away from the church anything that the church is dependant upon for its survival. This is a sin by its nature, which assaults those of the community at large; it is an outward pressing sin. Where these people live as parasites, preying on them whom they are able to deceive or overpower with their evil intentions to take from them what they labored for. A fair balance is not in their heart to both give and receive, their actions are not like that of a marriage, where the spouses give and receive from each other, but as a rapist who steals the privacy of another. These are those who in an attempt to fellowship, come to receive, but never contribute anything to the process. They do not alter the true function of the church though, because their actions are nevertheless, physical in nature, and not spiritual, so that they are mere outsiders looking in.
and idolaters,
> Then those, who are an offense to God directly in their actions, do not hinder the work of God, or diminish that which he is in positionaly, just because they make up false gods to worship. So, this sin by its very nature is directed at God in a form of rejection of him for another. Though this sin by a general definition may have the illusions of spiritual overtones to it, it is actually a dead Spirit, completely imitation in its own state. Therefore, a dead Spirit does not hinder the living Spirit of God in us; the commandment was given to Moses long ago not to be Idolaters against God. Yet it was and is in continuous violation before with man, and yet God still saved the faithful to him despite it existence. Therefore, though it does resist the Spirit of God, it does not hinder the work of Gods Spirit in the earth to sanctify us or convert them who hear Gods call of repentance to him.
since
> This is because of the fact that you were called as emissaries to them, and to be emissaries, you must at some level engage them in your community to do that. There is a certain mode that we are to exist in and perceive others thru who are not the believers of God. Though we are in a sense, there more to observe each other thru a window, than to actually be apart of one another, it does provide for some level of interaction with the people, but not the lifestyle. As we are to be a light into the darkness of the world, we are not to be as starlight, which is distant, but as a candle light, up close so that it effects them where they are, so that the difference we make is felt on them personally.
you
> For you to be absent them, does not then achieve such things, the call to abstinence of sin, does not apply itself to the absence of people. You are first of all, not capable of the surgical removal of yourself from the nature of man. Even God said that he would separate the evil from the good, after the death of them and not before. Therefore, we should not attempt to do what God has not chosen himself to do.
would then
> The conclusion of such thinking, if drawn out to its end, is not a practical one, even when applying simple common sense to it, apart from Gods design for the church in the world. We are able to see that it is not a practical solution to the problem of our existence, as ones that are being sanctified by the work of the Holy Spirit, to end the coexisting in the same space as those who are not.
have to
> There is a simple law here at work, that binds us to this what might appear to be a dilemma, but is not. In that, God has not chosen to remove us from the natural laws of nature. We will still breathe the air they breathe, and eat the same basic diet that they do, so it is not practical to think in such terms of separation from them, as though that would make a difference inevitably in our natural environment.
go out
> Our origin is the same, even if our future is not, and so that origin that we share can not be left behind in our bodies, as though we could exist separately from our bodies. Our mindset may be altered, but our physical location on earth is a fixed position for us.
of the
> In that, we would have to be completely separate from not just this world, but from our own bodies, for this to have a real change in us. Because except for our mindset, our bodies are of the same sin nature as theirs, still unchanged from that which they were before Christ saved us from our sin.
world.
> So even though we are no longer of this world spiritually speaking, we are of this world still in our physical presence, and that by Gods design, so we should not fight a war of division, when God would not be on our side for the victory of it.

5:11 But
> The intention that I had before on instructing you on this subject, was to give you a refined form or method of thinking of yourself, which was meant for self-analysis. So what I am more than suggesting, is that you turn the mirror on yourself in these issues, to see what reflection is the manner of your local church seen in.
now
> In which this has now become a past due action that should have already occurred among you, had you had the right frame of mind at work in you, you would have gotten the jest of my message before, the way I meant it to be. With present conditions being as they are among you, from not taking an initial stand. It is the evidence that what I taught you before was the right action to take, and is now an overdue action on your part.
I
> Because you did not get it right the first time, I am forced to break it down into the very details of what I meant. I am not going to mince words with you on this; you will now know exactly what I mean.
am writing
> This is then to be read like a transcript for you of future reference and present action, should you not have a right mind in you, you will have the facts written down for you to refer to, should that be the case.
to you
> This is a directive for you to hear in the church, this is what might be called in business, an internal memo. It is meant then to guide a corporate body, to function according to the corporate doctrine. It is meant for those inside the church, to understand its directives, and conform to them, if they wish to remain a viable part of the church.
not to
> It has in it a forbidding tone to it, meaning that there are things which are simply unacceptable behavior patterns, which are identifiable categories of sinful behavior, which we must reject, as having a place among the church, that would allow them to root themselves in us. It is like allowing ourselves to get used to a bad odor in our own homes, we do not smell it, because our senses have tuned it out. But anyone coming into our environment, will be immediately turned off by it, even though we are so accustom to it that we no longer sense it presence. If we allow the odor to exist, it will be a blemish on our character, simply because we were no diligent in the cleaning of our own home.
associate
> From this you should be able to glean my understanding of the message of the idea behind it, but even you if don’t, the rule still stands in the church. That you should not combine in the corporate entity, the idea that you will be aloud to have such a display sin in your personal life, and still have the fellowship of you’re contributing to the overall welfare of the church at the same time. That it will result in the separation of the church body from the association of such behavior.
with
> Which means that identifying individuals who think like this, is the right thing to do as a method of church operation. The church should not be thought of as just a big soft pillow to rest your head upon, as a matter of conscience convenience, with disregard to personal character. Where one develops the idea that, they can be a part of it, according to their own devised standards and not Gods. Or that they should be allowed to come and go, in so associating them with the church at the leisure of what they want, irrespective of church doctrine. But rather as an organization and a family, which must have conformity to it, based on its founding objective, which is to come to know the image of Christ, as it exist in us to be like him as our purpose. The church never joins anyone or any other concept of life, we join it, in abandonment of the old, for the new, in every circumstance, which is the foundation of this church and applies equally to every person. It is not about the recruitment of people, which is at the core of its success; it is the repentance of the people in rejection of the world, for God, which is its center of value, which it holds that gives it worth.
anyone
> If they choose to do any of these such things according to sin, as a defined course in their lives, they should be forewarned that their will be consequences in the church. That then, being a responsibility of the church, to make such doctrines as common knowledge among them. They should have a clear mind in them, as having received instruction from you, that if they do such sins, as an accepted behavior pattern in them. They can be sure that the church will respond in such a way that is fitting to glorify God, as having a higher standard for his people then what is prevalent in them.
who
> These individuals, are not targets of the church, you are not on a search and destroy mission concerning them. Because what this should be, is an up front standard, that they are made aware of in the form of discipleship, before having a place of fellowship in the church. They should be fully aware of the church stance on the issues they embrace in life, and that ignorance of these facts, is first a failure of the church to teach, before it is said that ignorance of the law is no excuse for them.
calls
> They and we must understand that to profess a an affiliation with the church, is to acknowledge the personal dedication of alliance to live according to that belief structure of that church. That if you say I am a member of that organization, then you represent them, with the obligation of doing so according their terms of doctrinal behavior, and not your own opinion of the matter. By making such a proclamation, they are making identifications both with and for that group of people, and therein is what we rely on as the responsible actions of everyone involved to act in conscious effort towards the others.
himself
> If you place yourself in that mix, your identity is part of them, not unlike the mixing of flour, eggs and milk, which combined to make a cake. The individual ingredients are still there, but the union of them is meant to take the shape of another, which none of them individually are in their own state, which is the image of Christ. So, those who choose to be in the mix, must be made aware of the altered state that that will mean in how they live and represent their lives in that mix.
a Christian
> Specifically for us then, what is disturbing and harmful to us, is their proclaiming to be a member of the body of Jesus Christ, but doing so in their minds, in so casual a manner, so as to not understand the meaning of their personal responsibility to such a statement of faith. To identify yourself as a Christ follower means that you represent who he is, in what he is, as a moral state of conscience. You are saying, I am like Christ and Christ is like me, that is the very essence of saying, I am a Christian. To then misrepresent that statement for whatever reason, then needs to be unacceptable in the church as a stated belief. This is not to be used as a weapon of target practice towards one another, but a private prevention in us, at both the personal and corporate body of the church.
who is
> If they then with this understanding, still have the appearance of evil in them. Then that is the appearance of a tarnished image, which not only does the world see, but is also a promotion of prospective ideas. Which will have influence inside the church, as well as outside the church, as to what is the essence or air of meaning of the church body. The immoral stand they make, then becomes a perverse or false image of God thru which the people on earth, will then view the image of Christ in you.
sexually
> If they have a predisposition to sexual behavior, and promote that behavior in the church, by having disregard for the image of Christ by the way they act out in sexual behavior, then what part do they have in the body? Sex is a proper function for everyone, if done in proper connection with your spouse, but none other. It can never be tolerated as a social function, because its passions are too strong to be contained for mere pleasure seeking, they must always be bound to your spouse only.
immoral,
> Such unrestraint means that the internal person that they are, is unconcerned with the image of God, which they portray with the way that they live. It means that what they say on the outside, is not a real belief in them as part of their personal conscience, in that they are not willing to alter their lifestyle to be a part of it.
or greedy,
> If their plans in life, are to do nothing more than to acquire more for themselves, how do they have a part in the church, when the image of Christ is to put others benefit, before your own just as he did. These are two incompatible ideas, as Christ said, “you cannot serve God and money”, you must all choose one or another individually, but if anyone in the church will not choose on their own, then you must choose for them.
or an
> In the same sense, that application is transferable to any such occasion, where one is saying one thing, but doing another. If a poor man is telling everyone that he is rich, yet everyone in the community knows he is poor, where is his credibility in anything that he says. The church has the responsibility of maintaining its credibility, even at the cost of losing its own members.
idolater,
> If they say they serve God, yet at the same time give honor to idols in worship, which is anything that is more important to them than God, then they have no credibility in them as a worshiper of the one true God, and you need to distance yourself from them, so that everyone knows thee are false in their thinking towards God. As it will be obvious to anyone who sees them in action, that they promote themselves to be one thing, but live in an altogether different vein in life. Which then only discredits the faith they say they have, and by association tarnishes the image of the church they say they are part of.
or verbally
> If the nature of their speech, is one of rash judgments against others, where it is their nature to lash out at others with harmful intent. Where their speech is filled with bitterness towards others, how can that represent God, who is offering peace and rest from such behavior in his kingdom.
abusive,
> Where this is a sign of someone who is seeking power at the expense of others, portraying others as weak feeble people and themselves as strong. This then with the intent of making others subservient to them, responding to the desires of themselves, rather than that which is right to do in the church according to God. They by the tone of their voice, put others down, rather than build them up as a support structure for them and others in the church.
or a drunkard,
> If someone is under the influence of an addiction, they are not their own self, but that which the substance in them, creates in them. If you are under the power of something else, that is not of God, then you cannot be under the influence of Gods Holy Spirit, which is there to help you end the addiction. It is one thing for someone to be in the church seeking relief from a confessed addiction and someone who has justified it in his own heart and rejects the church intervention. They should then be the ones that are rejected from the church fellowship. Because they have rejected the church judgment on such matters, and will not acknowledge the authority of God thru the church, which is a base perquisite of requirement, of the church, if it is real representation of God.
or a swindler.
> If they are a deceiver at heart, they are sadly comparable to the devil himself, who is the great deceiver. So if one is trying extort from you, either thru deception or brute force, they are in essence, only mimicking the way of the devil. They do not have in them the mind of Christ, so how can they be trusted with the prosperity of the church. Not in just in a monetary sense, but in the prosperity of church life itself, its fullness which comes from the fellowship of contribution, which is the opposite of that of extortion.
Do not
> This is where you then take a stand against such behavior and distance yourself from them and their behavior. What you do not want to do is paint a false image in them or others in the church, that what they are doing is acceptable in the church. What it left open to interpretation because of vagueness of doctrine, can in the mind of others, open the door to sinful activity, which cannot be allowed.
even
> To the extent, that even the most simple of event that would appear as innocent contact with them, could be interrupted by them or others wrongly. Therefore, it is important that you draw a distinct line with them, so that your only contact is that of directly leading them to repentance, and absent that in them, there should be no perceived fellowship with them.
eat
> For example, let suppose you agreed to have lunch with them, just for the sake of seeing them without a repentance agenda. Such an act by itself is subject to interpretation by them and everyone that sees it, according to their own imaginations of it. But not so with the refusal of eating with them, in that, the rejection is all there is to consider by them and others. Once you reject them in a public manner of a church meeting, they can only be received again in the same way; so that it is also a matter of public record.
with
> Because when you eat with them, you are publicly communicating them to be socially acceptable as part of yourself, regardless of your own intentions. You are also basically giving them another option than that of repentance, because they will perceive that they will be able to live in a middle ground between the world and the church and get away with it. It will also mark the church as not being sincere or resolute in what it believes. In that, what they dictate, as the truth in discipline, is in the end negotiable and can be put away with resistance to it, by them or a church member willing to ignore their excommunication. If people can say to church authority and its body, “whatever, or big deal” as a flip response, then the church will be irrelevant in the lives of its members. So that having a social event with them, would imply that it was not a serious issue, but that the church body was merely putting on a face or false front before the world and its members, and did not itself, believe that which it taught.
such
> So if the nature of that person is in such a state of sin, that they disregard the church for their own selfish desires, then it is their own nature that must be a reaction in you against them. It should be such an offense to you in the church, who have the mind of Christ at work in them, to find Christ more acceptable, then that of a sinner in pursuit of said sin. Your comfort level should be attuned to the sensitivity of Christ, rather than that of the sinner.
a person.
> Let them carry the weight of their sins alone, so that no one allows them the delusion of acceptance in the church. They must receive in themselves, the recourse of what they have done, by losing what they had in the church, so far as status and acceptance, because of the lifestyle the chose to live. Let them be whom they have chosen to be in isolation from the church body, for both the discipline of them and the safety of their bad influence having a decaying effect in the church body. Do not allow them to become a decoy of true Christianity, for which many could fall prey, demand the real thing as being prevalent and relevant before you, as your only reliance.

5:12 For
> You have to look at the premise of that which is our purpose, for you to have a clear understanding of that which we involve ourselves in. Our purpose defines our outlook and activity for us, so that we are not wasting time and energy on what might seem logical, but in the end are the unmerited tasks of life or misguided motivators, being used as decision-makers.
what
> If you consider my life connection now, which is a spiritual one to God, which is where my dependency lies, not with earthly bounds or obligations. Then you begin to realize the difference between church business and worldly governments. That the two are of such different origin, as to that which they are premeditated to accomplish, that the two operate independently from each other, even though there may be a high degree of interaction between them. The point being here, that in life as a Christian, we should not confuse or areas of responsibility, as that which is God given, if he did not give it to us as a responsibility. If he did not give it to us to be the world government, then we do not have his support in seeing it thru to that end. I am not dismissing the power of influence we might have on our cultures, if we live like Christ, but that is entirely different than, having the authority to rule over carnal man, concerning the activity of the living Spirit of Christ in us, which they do not have. It is like the old adage of trying to mix oil and water, you confuse their interaction as one and the same by shaking them violently into one, but left to settle, they will always settle back to that which they were before. The same end comes from trying to integrate church holiness and worldly sin. You can agitate them into what might appear to be coexistence, but the two will separate every time. When the seekers of holiness, do not seek to be in the mix of sin, but to have rest in the Spirit of God, sin will separate itself from holiness.
do I
> So this is where we must make the separation in our thinking and actions, from where in the church we appear to have some power granted us by God, but in the world it yields no power to command any such thing from them, because God did not intend or empower it to do so. Therefore I am weak when it comes to the power of influence in the world, which is done thru carnal power, but strong in the church, which is the true domain of my Spirit.
have
> You see that there is no possession in the world for me now, so if I do not have possession of it, in that, it is not mine now or thru inheritance, then I cannot rule over that which is not mine. Therefore, this comes down to simple possession, as to my purpose and outlook in the world. To have and to hold, which is a marriage vow, is possession, no matter how else you define it. If you refuse it, it means nothing, but if you say and accept it, it means everything as to the definition of whom you are and what your stand in life requires you to be.
to do
> That then defines my action towards the world, as that of the influence of environment only that I bring to the table in the way I live my life, but not that of rule over them as a purpose in me. I might inject my opinion in conversations of right and wrong, but my goals should to live towards a mirror of my own reflection, as that of Christ. And not attempt to bring them into that picture, which do not know Christ in a relationship, as a background of that picture of Christ. They are not only not in the picture, they are not even in the framework of Gods work in the church, God does in the church according to his Holy state, not mans sinful state which is in the world.
with
> So that the association that I have, is clearly defined in my mind, as being that of a servants portion, more than that of the rulers possession. I do not keep them higher than me or lower than me in my mind, but separate from me, as far as their place of existence compared to mine. Now my spiritual place is higher than theirs; but I am speaking here at the human level of our coexistence only, so that we can clarify our behavior towards them. We are not at war with them; our battle is a spiritual one, which is then influential, but not the purpose in us to make the world look pretty or tolerable to us, as to their activity being in line with ours.
judging
> For me to declare to them then, that they are subject to my discretion, is first of all a false statement, in that, even though God did put us in charge of the Spirit world as part of our union with him, he did not give us command over the carnal world, but called for us to come out of it and leave it to him and his judgment. It is not possible for us to distinguish in them, for them, their spiritual moral compass, when they have no Spirit. There again, I am not speaking of our influence with them, but as to our right to declare them to be on trial before us in their actions. Just because we have been revealed by God to know God, it does not reveal them to the same or give them the mind of Christ by proxy. Only in the most general way do we influence the morality of the outside world, and that is all but superficial at that. Our salt is meant to purify them through the introduction of them to Christ, it does not season them to live Holy to God without that of Christ in them. They are no better off to know about Christ, yet in their hearts reject him, than to have never heard the message-of-the-cross. So to make them over in the image of Christ externally, for us to have only the external environment with them to look good, does nothing to change the moral compass in them, where they still prefer sin, rather than to prefer the Holy state of God.
those
> If in our minds, we then actually then have the right portrayal of who they are, concerning our relationship to them, then we will not come away with misguided motivations in us towards them. In that, we have a different nature at work in us and a different destiny in us in eternity. God has altered us, to actually prefer the holiness of God to that of sin, even though sin still engages itself in our bodies, as it does with them, but they prefer sin to God.
outside?
> We are under the conscious influence of Gods Holy Spirit, with our understanding of him at work in us. They are not; they are under Gods judgment, but separately from us, as to how his workings are towards them and us. Therefore, if God has us in a separate state, then we should not attempt to combine what God has separated. For how, if we struggle with the Spirit in us to resist sin, what chance do they have, without the Spirit to be as Christ is, whom they do not know.
Are
> We then have to turn our focus and set it where it is able to function and have results, which will have an eternal influence for us, and not just this temporary environment here on earth. Your emotions are important to God, but that does not make them relevant or right to pursue in this life. Your determinations must be rationale rather than emotional, even though your emotions are valid with God, they are a poor tool for the decision making process. In that, they are easily altered from that which they are, that is why the word emotion itself, is a derivative of the word motion, they are not stable by their own nature as a foundation. Once you have the right process at hand though, your emotions are a great motivator to help you gain ground in that which you are pursuing.
you
> This is as much an individual struggle and principle, as it is a corporate one for the whole body. You will make in life, what I will call minor decisions, or at least appear that way at that time in your life, all day long. This can have as much effect on you down the road, as any major decision, which is made, in the church at the corporate level. Therefore, what I am projecting to you in this, has as much to do with each persons personal perspective, as it does your corporate body. An individuals moral compass, must be a derivative of the church body’s moral compass though, as God is working thru the church body to establish his kingdom, not thru individuals who are separate from the church. Even we the Apostles, are products of the church, not the church a product of us, though the perspective in the world may perceive it as such. When an individual recognizes holiness and seeks it in their life, even though their local church is not. It still came to them through the church of God, as its resource in them, as the knowledge of God is in and thru the church body of Christ. Even if we do not perceive it as so, it is not just an isolated personal achievement, but a benefit of and for the body of Christ.
not
> As it is always better to obey holiness, rather than try to make up for it thru sacrifice of some sort to God. We must conclude here, that the “not”, is meant as a positive thing to do, and not something with a negative nuance to it. In that process of church discipline then, the things you choose to pursue should be based on a positive action. Where the events themselves are driven by your response to the right things to do and not wrong things constantly being the motivator of your time.
to judge
> So here we judge positively, for the right reasons, even though there is a negative condition. The course we set is then the same as Christ, who came to find righteousness in this life, and not sin, or even too not sin as a motivation, he came to be Gods righteousness for us, to seek it, to find it, it all things. Christ did not come to seek out sin and do battle with it, it was not even a consideration, he came in a Holy state, to live in a Holy state, irrelevant to the sin that was his own environment on earth. His holiness alone, was a deathtrap for sin, which then imploded it on itself, when it came in contact with him on the cross.
those inside?
> When Christ found sin in his midst, he did not change his course to deal with sin; he passed it by, by seeking out more righteousness. Even in his most dramatic action in driving out the business people from using the temple to make a profit, his motivation was to find righteousness present before him, not to seek out and destroy sin. This is where man errors in his perceived mission and relationship to God. In that, his focus becomes a seek and destroy mission against sin, which is sin itself, rather that the pure and personal choice of seeking righteousness, as the personal and corporate goal or focus of the body. Sin will always be present in body of believers, so the choice to make is that of pursuing and discerning holiness as the personal and corporate goal of in the church. It is not a question as to whether or not we will desire to sin, which we will want to do. The point is whether or not the church will make the decision to seek righteousness out as its core focus when it encounters sins activity, passing sin by, leaving it to exist by itself in that person, if they so choose to stay with it.

5:13 But
> As to those who are not part of the church, they are not part of us and therefore in the end, not our responsibility, in that, God is not holding us accountable for their actions or our dominance over them. That being the case, it is a workload we should not then seek out on our own.
God
> It then exist under the control of God to deal with in his own method as God over all things. He alone is in a position to engage sin as its judge, but not become sin, as a result of its encounter with him, which we are made aware of thru seeing Christ doing so on earth.
will
> We should also know that it has already been determined by God, when and how he will deal with sinful people of the world. It is not an open question for any of us to wonder about, it actually never was, God will hold accountable those who sin, for their sins, if they have no defense against them thru Christ.
judge
> God has his own thoughts about them, which we cannot even begin to be at the same level with. He sees them in their state, in a way that is able to distinguish all of that which they are guilty of, from his state of perfection, which we cannot know or understand while we live in this body of sin. God not being tainted by sin, then is able to make perfect judgments of them and the final state of them.
those
> God is dividing them away from his grace, by not giving them a place in his church, which is already under his protection from his eternal judgment.
outside.
> What this makes them then, is strangers to God, in that, he is not engaging them, so as to redeem them along with the church. God knows their end state already, and though he is monitoring them for judgment, he is not seeking to relieve them of the sin at work in them, but only to hold them accountable for them. The idea of God dealing separately with those with a preference to do sin, is not new, it is in the Old Testament where God said.

> Take away the rights and privileges of them who seek company with you, but do not seek the holiness of God, as part of the make up of who they are. Do not think of yourselves as anything more than a social club for people who want to appear religious, or that for the sake of their feelings, you should not be close minded towards their sinful behavior. Being selective is a godly trait then, when it comes to people who want to hangout with godly people, but do not want to be godly themselves or be Christ like.
the evil
> If they have a preference to sin, rather than a preference to be Holy, where they do not know God according to his true nature, but have a false idol version of him. I am not talking about having a failing in your Christian walk; I have them all the time. What I am referring to is the desire to have the sin, rather than the fellowship of God in your life. There is a distinct difference between the two and that is what you need to have the clarity on and practice of in your church.

> This is an individual focus, not a category focus, nor do not punish the classroom, because one person is disruptive. You deal with that one person only, according to the severity of what they have done, and its potential harm to the church. If they are mischievous in their behavior, then you know that they want to drag others down with them and disrupt to unity for selfish reasons in them.

> To this extent then, there should be created a perceivable distancing of yourselves from them, for the purpose of making a statement about his activity and as an act of prevention of his sin in others. In this case, it is so severe that he must put out from among you, as soon as you can assemble and do it.
among you.
> Do not to allow him access to the body of believers, you should uninvite him publicly in the church, not before the world. Let it be common knowledge in the church, that he is being put outside of the church in the area of fellowship, because of the way he has shown disregard for the image of Christ in him, as to having no respect towards personal holiness in him.
